How do I get API keys?

  1. Sign up at app.architect.exchange/signup.
  2. Create a key in API settings.
Pass the key in the Authorization header as Bearer <your-api-key>. See Environments & Endpoints for details.

Is there a test environment?

Yes. Use the sandbox environment for development and testing, and production when you are ready to trade with real funds. Base URLs are listed in Environments & Endpoints.

How do I check whether the API is up?

Both environments expose a public GET /health endpoint that requires no authentication, e.g. https://gateway.architect.exchange/api/health.

Rate Limits

  • 100 requests/second per account
  • Applies to all authenticated endpoints (trading, market data, account)

  • Hosted on AWS Europe (London)
  • Availability Zone: eu-west-2c (euw2-az1)

Connectivity

  • Additional connectivity options (e.g., VPC) is on the roadmap but not currently available
